This day-long practice is dedicated to the peaceful practice of yoga and building inner peace and serenity before the busy time of fall. We will focus on relieving neck and shoulder tension through our asana and breath work. The morning practice will be active, opening and strengthening and the afternoon practice quiet and restorative.
Debbie Gilman, M.A., ERYT 500, has been teaching at The Yoga Room since 2000, is on the faculty of the Advanced Studies Program there, and has studied with Donald Moyer and Mary Lou Weprin for over 20 years. A life-long teacher, she loves sharing the movement-based mindfulness practice of yoga with her students. Debbie is currently indulging her interest in the history of yoga by facilitating the Yoga Room Book Group.
