Welcome to The Yoga Room

The Yoga Room, Berkeley’s oldest full-fledged yoga studio, is happy to announce that the opening of our second studio on July first and the addition of several new ongoing classes and series. See both our May–June and July–August schedules for details.

Our staff of fifteen teachers offers a wide range of classes and workshops for students of all levels, including special classes for seniors, yoga for back care, and restorative yoga. We provide the finest in teacher training through a two-year Advanced Studies Program and continuing education with a new and innovative Yoga Movement Course. Our sunny, spacious, quiet studio with heated floors is conveniently located on San Pablo Avenue at Dwight Way, near the Ecology Center and Sierra Club.
