with Debbie Gilman
Saturday, December 7th | 2-5pm
Many of us spend time hunched over our computers, tablets and phones and then have neck, shoulder and upper back pain. In this workshop we will use yoga postures and breathing awareness to release pain and re-pattern the upper body for better alignment and stability. To enrich the learning, there will be some anatomy review and a take-home overview of the practices from the workshop.
Debbie Gilman M.A., ERYT 500, has been teaching at The Yoga Room since 2000 and is on the faculty of the Advanced Studies Program there. A life-long teacher, she loves sharing the movement-based mindfulness practice of yoga with her students. Debbie’s yoga practice is informed by her study of the history of yoga.
