with Debbie Gilman and Gay White
Saturday & Sunday, May 25th – 26th, 2019
9:00am – 12:00pm & 2:00pm – 4:00pm
This late spring intensive will offer a reflective two-day practice embracing the joy of moving into backbends and twists while also nurturing a deep sense of stillness through pranayama and restorative yoga. In the morning classes we will focus on active practices for dynamic work and the afternoons will be devoted to relaxing and going deeper into breathing and relaxation.
Debbie Gilman. M.A., ERYT 500, has been teaching at The Yoga Room since 2000, is on the faculty of the Advanced Studies Program there, and co-owns Innate Chiropractic & Wellness Studio in Albany. A life-long teacher, she loves sharing the movement-based mindfulness practice of yoga with her students. In recent years Debbie has been studying the history of yoga to deepen her understanding of the practice.
