Restorative Yoga is an ongoing class that focuses on gentle supported poses to help you release into a deep state of relaxation. Practiced in conjunction with breathing awareness exercises, these restorative poses are beneficial for anyone recovering from illness, injury, or stress. Everyone is welcome: no previous yoga experience is necessary.
Bonnie Maeda is a registered nurse, and teaches Iyengar-based yoga poses. Her classes are appropriate for individuals healing from an injury, coping with a chronic illness, or anyone else who prefers a gentle approach to their yoga practice. Students are welcome to join the class on either a series or a drop-in basis.
