In our class this fall we will contemplate and converse about several stories of Zen practice and enlightenment. Our contemplation and conversations will naturally bring up questions and concerns about our daily life and how to meet the great and small challenges of our wonderful and troubled world in beneficial and liberating ways.
Each evening will begin with silent sitting and walking meditation followed by teachings and group discussions.
Tenshin Reb Anderson is Senior Dharma Teacher and former Abbot of San Francisco Zen Center. He is the author of Warm Smiles from Cold Mountains, Being Upright: Zen Meditation and the Bodhisattva Precepts, and The Third Turning of the Wheel: Wisdom of the Samdhinirmocana Sutra.
