FASCIA is the seamless web of connective tissue that covers, penatrates and connects the muscles, organs and skeletal structures in our bodies. In this workshop we will target key areas muscular and fascial congestion in the lower body. We will practice self-myofascial release techniques, and complimentary Yoga asana. Together these practices can improve joint range of motion, correct muscle imbalances, reduce muscle soreness, relieve joint stress as well as enhance neuromuscular efficiency. Balls and foam rollers will be provided.
Ada Lusardi (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is a graduate and faculty member of The Yoga Room’s Advanced Studies Program. A self-professed anatomy geek, she is known for her compassionate and clear direction, intelligent sequencing and skillful hands-on adjustments.
