These workshops are for teachers and yoga students looking for more exploration with hands-on assists and for those interested in learning to create a safe class setting. The workshops are designed to be taken together. Please contact Gay directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can only attend one.
Part 1: In this seminar we will begin to study the skills of seeing and understanding bodies. We will explore partner work, relaxation assistance, developing our sense of touch and offering appropriate and effective hands on guidance.
Part 2: We will continue to work with specific strategies for assisting students in a yoga class and learn traditional ways of helping others in classic asanas. While keeping our own alignment safe, we will build our skills for helping others.
